Gluten morning! and welcome to a celebration of baking.
I’m incredibly excited - and nervous- but mainly excited, to be sharing my recipes on Substack.
My path to baking was anything but smooth or linear. At 14 my anxiety was so bad I couldn’t leave the house, let alone go to school. Then I started baking and, well, it changed my life. At 15 I ended up crowdfunding and opened a bakery (it was a busy year).
4 years on, I still run my little bakery, have a book ‘Breadsong’ and run a charity, Breaducation (do love a pun), giving free bread kits to schools, prisons, community groups etc.
I found so much joy in baking and Gluten Morning is how I hope to share it.
